The Southampton Boat Show is an on-water boat show, the biggest of its type in England and one of the largest in Europe.
The spectacular marina is one of Europe’s largest purpose built marinas with over 2km of pontoon displaying more than 300 boats.
If you are able to attend, there is the opportunity to climb on board and learn about the history of one of the last classic wooden tall ships, the Kaskelot. You can also take a mini cruise around the show. Take a look at USN P22 gunboat most recently featured in this year’s blockbuster war film, Dunkirk. Try out the new Paddle River Experience where you have to paddle your way round the course and see how quickly you can do it.
Kids can have a go at dinghy sailing, stand up paddleboarding and bellboating. There are also Bumper Boats and an Adventure Canoe River experience to try out.
